Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she was a performer at The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Theater. She began her career with the city of Los Angeles as a theater artist. She choreographed and performed in more than 20 musicals and plays. They included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. In addition she played 7 titles at Los Angeles' Storybook Theatre. As she continued to learn Improvisation at The Groundlings and becoming a company member of Theatre West Kelly also started getting roles for television as well as in films. It is her voice and diminutive stature that have made her able to play a variety of different roles. Her most well-known role is her performance with Naomi Watts taking over the character of evil Samara In The Ring 2 but is popularly known as the bubbly bright receptionist of Two and a Half Men. Between 2011 and 2015, Kelly worked as a paralegal in the daytime and a party hopper in the evening as a series regular for the TV Land comedy The Exes. Kelly was also a regular in the role of Alyssa's smart, sassy sister in ABC's Romantically Challenged and as the stressed-out suburban mom in the CW series No Tomorrow. Her fame is based on her soaring soprano voice in a variety of animated shows. This includes Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. She was most recently seen in NBC's smash comedy Superstore as the dim, yet adorable Cloud 9 worker. She has a private life which is quiet with her two sons under the age of five. She enjoys sewing as well as write, and she is an active participant for various school functions.
